Why You Should Practice Self-Care


I’ve been learning about how important Self-Care is so I’m going to make this post short and sweet.

It’s important to take time out for yourself and care for yourself and have compassion in yourself.

You are not a bad person if from time to time you say “no” to people and decide to look after yourself instead.

If you don’t have compassion on yourself, you will suffer from Burnout (follow this link for more information) and be good to no one.

Sometimes one just needs a break.

Practice Self-Care – do something for you one in a while like:

  • ๐Ÿ‘ฃ Take a walk
  • ๐Ÿšด๐Ÿฝโ€โ™€๏ธ Ride your bike
  • ๐ŸŽธ Play an instrument
  • ๐Ÿ‘ฉ๐Ÿฝโ€๐Ÿณ โฒ๏ธ๐Ÿณ Bake a cake!
  • ๐Ÿ˜‹๐Ÿ˜›๐Ÿฐ Eat a cake
  • ๐Ÿ“– Read a book
  • ๐ŸŽฅ Watch a film
  • ๐ŸŽง๐ŸŽต๐ŸŽถ Listen to my EP (follow this link for more information)

Whatever makes you happy (๐Ÿคจ๐Ÿค”๐Ÿง within the bounds of holiness and proprietary).

I am now going to lead by example and put something chocolate flavoured in my mouth and then take a nap lol
